the problem
Helix needed to launch a patient-facing portal with HIPAA compliance baked in. Their previous attempt failed audit.
the solution
I rebuilt it from scratch with audit logs, encryption at rest and in flight, and consent flows that meet HIPAA requirements. Passed external audit on first attempt.
